This last couple months I have been seeking God for what He has for me this Fall. Well, He has provided a job for me with Grace Christian School. I will be doing many dfferent things within the school, which is what I like.  Also I have the privilege to be doing a Bible Study with a group of young women in the church. This time of starting a new season has been stretching and amazing all at the same time. It has taught me to see God in new ways and realize He doesn't take us somewhere drop us and walk away. His provision is always and forever, even when I may think differently. So in that I am excited to see what God has for me in every day as I know that as I continually give God control He will do amazing things through and for me.

 

    Well we have just returned from a great trip up North. It was my family and my Uncle Don. I think this is the first family trip for a very long time. We went for three days to Besnard Lake and had great weather, food, and fishing. A person couldn't ask for a better time of relaxation here in our backyard, good old Saskatchewan. The North is so beautiful,lots of trees and tons of water.

 

 

       The words that have been on the tip of my tongue for the last while is. GOD IS GOOD. Why is that?  Well when you surrender your life to God it means you may not know what's next, but I  have been learning to trust God completely and He has been helping me do that.  I have just sayed "God help me trust you. Help me take my hands off my life so you can put your hands on. I dont know how but teach me." When I did that He has provided my every need. Brought amazing people to come along side me, inside is making me a stronger person, and using me to help others around. I want to encourage you to let God do what He wants. He loves you and wants to bless and use you more than we could ever know. The reality that I am coming to is that I really dont know what is best for me. He does. That is why He died for me. He wants us all free. God bless all of you.

       Currently I have started volunteering at the Grace Christian School in our Church building. I am there three half days a week. I help two days with the Kindergarden/Preschool class and the other day in a Grade 3/4 class. It has been a joy to be there as we are teaching these children Jesus. These children in Preschool are quoting verses like crazy. They know verses better than I do. What a challenge. Alot of there work is on the word of God. I have never been teaching and one of the children come up to me and read a scripture to me so that I can help them answer a question. I love it. It also has been along time since I have been called Ms. Meginbir.

        God is so good. The children and staff have alot of energy and the spirit of God is there. It is interesting when you allow God to lead where He will take you.  

 

         I just returned from Calgary. I had the opportunity to visit a team that is going to Brasil in June. My cousin Preston and his wife will be going down to be where I live in Brasil. So that was great for me to be able to spend some time with them, and get to know them. I also spent alot of time with family and had a couple opportunities to visit friends. It was nice to just reconnect with people.

 

       Now in Saskatoon I am starting t get involved with youth. Being a support to the leadership team in place. Also I have had the chance to visit some of our church plants outside of Saskatoon. Get a chance to know people that have been new since I have been in Brasil. There are also many other opportunities arising that I am waiting on the Lord to direct. God has been so amazing in preparing everyday and directing my every step. He has placed so many people on my path with words of encouragement, wisdom, and open ear to listen.

 

     I have really been learning about time and how every moment needs to be given to te Lord. That in everything we do we are  preparing for eternity and that everymoment can be impacting.

 

     Currently I am in Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada. I returned in the middle of January and will be here for a chunk of time. I am going to be taking this time to travel and be with family and get some good time with my church. My church Saskatoon FullGospel has planted some churches the last 3 years and I am going to take the time I have to get face time with them. Also the most important part of my time will be getting a chance to spend some quality time being renewed and grow in Christ.

 

   The one challenge is figuring out how to live in winter again. I am not use to snow anymore. Bundling up again, no sandals.
